Greyhound dog racing – Track race 480m

Greyhound dog racing – Track race 480m

I had a mixed breed dog who was part greyhound and I thought he was fast until one time I saw a particularly tall pure bred at the beach. He trotted faster than most dogs can move full speed.
I absolutely love greyhounds. What’s very sad is, when they’re of no use anymore they get thrown into a rescue shelter. If my landlord allowed me to have dogs, greyhounds are definitely at the top of my list.
#6 had three hindrances and still took second. #2 was fast and had an amazing start, of course, but #6 would have overtaken him if they had another half lap to go. #2 has some major speed but a smaller/bouncer gait, while #6 used all-out extension of his body to cover a lot of ground quickly.
No.6 had 3 obstacles. A bad starting position. Hindered by slowly no. 1. And if this is longer track. No.6 will be the winner. However, No. 2 is very consistent and never look back. Congratulations! Thank you organisers for wondering race.❤️

Greyhound racing needs to be taken seriously and be broadcasted on tv I fell in love with greyhound racing just now it’s the first time I saw this dog sport!
That blue color dog had so much confidence and determination to win the race, beating it’s own record, no limits. This shows that when perseverance and skill are part of your hobby, you can conquer this world.
I wish the Lake Geneva (WI) dog track was still open. I went to one of these when I was young and loved it. So amazing to watch these things run wide open!
I am amazed how are they so well trained. I can’t even understand the objective just watching. I’d be like when do I want me to go? And when do I cut in? Which spot was the finish line
so the black one with the white stripes is actually the fastest if you watch, it just bumped into another dog and threw it off, then came from last to second. extremely impressive
If I had been there, I definitely would have bet the six dog that came in second. And as you can see he got bumped very wide out into the parking lot and then came back on the track to finish second. Those are the dogs I used to bet on.
